No need to apologize. It's an interesting coin to test knowledge on. So here's my take, hoping to also learn. First, I think you have some MD going on in the mint mark area. Zooming in on your reverse image there also seems to be MD in STATES OF. On the MM itself, hard to tell if it's die damage or coin damage. Certainly the D was not punched looking deformed like that. On to the Pluribus Unum, MD or die deterioration? and maybe a tiny bit of actual hub doubling. I tend to keep in mind, perhaps wrongly, that all dies of this era were pressed into the hub more than once, so at extreme magnification you can find this stuff everywhere if you look hard enough. It has to be more extreme for collectors to care enough to assign a premium.
