1982 large over small?

Look to the left of the nine and it looks like a small 8 bisects the nine. Then over the 8 it looks like a 2.

...I also see a comet, a beaver, and a one-eared raccoon. Take a look at the rest of your coin. Do you honestly think that the odd looking date is anything more than damage?

Not only is it damage, but what the OP thinks he sees is impossible, put it down to  pareidolia.
