Looking for info on this coin

I found this in my collection. I do no have any info on it and would appreciate any helpful knowledgeable details .

It is a Chinese cash coin from (I think) the Guang Xu era. (1875 - 1908). The originals were cast from brass, I believe, but I think yours is a copy, made at a later date.

Thank you.  Short of sending it in, what can be done or what characteristics can   be looked for to tell if it is indeed a copy?

Off hand--and Just Bob may know more than I do--when those are as lightly circulated as that one seems to be, the characters are not nearly so flattened. The sprue bulge isn't a tell, because these were all cast brass, but it is rather more obvious than we usually see in the real things.
