1885 o with a die crack what vam number would it be

I don't think that would have a VAM number assigned to it.

A die crack has to be strong enough to be classified as a die break for a VAM classification

Die cracks are fairly common on Morgans so there would just be too many out there to class them all.

I noticed on the other forum you posted this on you have no reply yet. Curious to see what they have to say.

But a die crack could be a die marker for a given or later die stage of a VAM.  The whole point of identifying a VAM is to identify the dies used,  A die with no identifying marks could not be told from another one.  But if it is identified by some feature and then a crack develops, that crack can then be used to identify that die.  While such cracks are common on Morgans, no two dies would crack in an identical manner.  Possibly similar cracks, but not identical.
