Is this an error 1982

The date can appear a upside down 5 or its just. Die struck error. I'm just asking because in every coin .each one has it character. ;) anyway what do the people think ? Even the B in liberty is odd. Hi R420Coins,

I see what you are referring to with your coin but I think it's post minting damage.  If you look at the 2 in the date, you can see where another coin hit it and caused a little dent.  It's kind of hard to tell from the pics, but I think that the Liberty got hit as well at some point in the coin's life.
