Double Die Obverse Mercury Dime?

Hi all, recently purchased a digital microscope and was looking through some of my coins, this Merc stood out at me as a possible DDO, can anyone share there opinion, cheers.

Welcome to the forum.

First, let me compliment you on the nice, clear picture. Most that we get to try to evaluate are blurry cell phone pics. Yours is very clear. (thumbsu Unfortunately, it looks like your coin's doubling is strike doubling, also called machine or mechanical doubling. It is not a doubled die, and is not worth a premium.

I just pulled this out of a lot I bought on ebay, seller must not have had a microscope!! It is a double die right?
