You sent a 1958 Lincoln that looks cleaned to NGC?  Why would you do that?  Well, it's your money.......

Unfortunately, I must disagree with this statement.  That coin is not a doubled die.  And, believe me, I have no jealousy here at all.  Your coin simply is not a doubled die, and I wouldn't be jealous even if it was.  You cannot begin to fathom the depth of the lack of interest I have in most United States coins.  And I feel that I should add that I've been collecting for 20 years this year.  And selling coins on my own for 11 years.

Sorry to burst your bubble but neither one look like a 1943 copper cent.

Did you give the magnet test to the top one? It looks like some of the surface has been scraped off exposing the steel core.

The second one is copper but has been altered to look like a 3. See how close to the rim it is.

Ok so the 1943 steel is the top coin it is only there for a reference so you can see exactly was it is supposed to look like . Yes I have tryed a magnet and nothing. Also on the obverse there are multiple number of  3s stamped all over examples of his right cheek ?!?!

Thank you for pointing out your flaw - it is machine doubling

I don't know, the images aren't sharp enough for me to be sure but it does look like there MIGHT be something on the TY.  It definitely isn't the major DDO though.

And seeing 3's on the cheek of the beat up 1940 something cent?
