Incirculated penny 1943

Thank you for your post. The standard weight for a 1943 copper penny is 3.11g and steel is 2.7g. There is a chance that this may be a copper coin with a plating on the surface but we would need to see the coin in hand to make a proper determination. It may be best to visit a few local NGC authorized dealers in your area for a quick opinion. Please see the link below.
