Pre-1937-D 3 Legger?

2 posts in this topic

I ran across and bid on this coin on E-Bay. Because of my inattentiveness, I lost it at close. It was in an old PCGS "Rattler" slab and is graded MS-65.

I think these are the dies that eventually went on to make the 3-Legger. Erosion patterns, the weak back leg, the mintmark all look very close.

Check it out with a real 3-legger and compare! Would this coin sell for a premium or be wanted for a collection if it is? I think it's neat to see it.

See the next two posts for the other pics.
