At first I thought there can’t be people this stupid, and then I thought of some of the things that I see on the news and read in the paper and remembered yes the world is really full of chuckle heads.

 

I see that the seller has another 1909 VDB for sale, wonder what it will go for will that other bidder who lost by only a few bucks out there?

Why heck, even The Coin Vault is cheaper, though not by much.

And the amazing thing is there were two bidders who thought that coin was worth over $89!

That coin is actually a 1909 S VDB. You can see the S between the U and last T of TRUST in the motto IN GOD WE TRUST.

 

Obviously some people who buy coins have a lot of money but no real knowledge about coins.
