Any Interesting Larg Cent varieties in this lot?

1816 looks like N-6 an R-2

1833 is N-3 an R-1

Can't be sure of the date of the first coin second row

1832 is N-3 an R-1

The 1838 in that grade I won't attempt from the picture but I can say it isn't 11, 13, 15, or 16

The 1830 appears to be N-4

I havent worked on the 1802 yet

Thanks, the first coin second row is 1835. These are coins that come with the 1803 cent and 1814 classic head.

Interesting, I was looking at a site about the Sheldon rarity scale that goes from R-1 to R-9. Coinfacts has info about each Newcomb variety but only uses adjectives that doesn't cover the entire scale. They only use adjectives like common, scarce, very scarce, rare, or very rare. That is only 5 so they are obviously combining the scale. Common and less common became "common". Newcomb had six varieties it says in his book, those that are common were not marked.

Have you seen this E-book? "United States copper cents, 1816-1857, by Howard R. Newcomb"

United States Copper Cents, 1816-1857
