I've got a 1877-S $ in AU,an while I was examing it.I noticed that it has a very small "S" mintmark.I don't have a trade $ book,but I looked it up in Breen's and it's listed as 5814.Would you know the value and rarity of this piece?I can post pics if you want me too.

The micro S mintmark is scarce, but really commands no premium at all. There are very few collectors doing the minor trade dollar varieties and there are enough of this particular coin to go around.

 

For a second opinion, try Keoj across the street.
