NEW NGC HOLDERS posted by DCZAN SILVER COINS

I am liking the new NGC holders!

I recently purchased a 2015 Burundi Silver African Lion Series coin from Modern Coin Mart and noticed that NGC has new holders. The label field is much larger and there are two lips on each side of the label field to hold the label flat and smooth. I know personally I have several labels that are bunched up or uneven, hopefully this new holder will solve that issue. I also noticed that the hologram that usually dominates the entire bottom of the label now only covers the right quarter over the NGC logo.

Has anyone else seen these new holders, if so how do you feel about them?

Do they all have lion pictures on them? Will the US coins have lions on the holders? Why not eagles? or other stuff?

Looks like just another new custom label, not a new holder.

I take that back I see the two ridges on either side of the front label used to keep the label flat.

The two vertical lines of NGC NGC NGC...... on the back hologram may be new as well.

The edge tabs do not appear on NGC slabs for early 2014, but they do appear on the 50th anniversary Kennedy halves (Both white and black inserts) but the double line of NGC does NOT appear on the Hologram eitehr early or on the Kennedy's so it must be a new change as well.

yes, I have bought 1 of each of these coins as well. the proof and mint state 70. and yes, hopefully the labels wont fall out of place anymore, like in the old slabs.

the silver Kennedy's had the same holders as well.
