Wow, tough task to try and see through the toning. They both look exceptionally high grade to me based upon the lack of damage to be noted. I'd guess MS 65 or higher on both.

The luster would be the only thing that might be too hidden to be sure.

Very likable coins though.

1. AU

2. MS64, FH as are most of this type.

Both have plastic stuck to them --- will that affect the grade?

Wow-very nice coins there. ... i would say from the pics that the half dime is AU55 or 58. I'd guess the SLQ to be MS63 poss 64, depending upon eye appeal which I can't quite get the feel from the pic.

Regardless though, awesome coins. ..

I know the grade of the Half Dime as was after the same one...you beat me to it...barely...damn you! I won't spoil the grade.

The SLQ is hard since the photo is dark. MS64FH...???

Nice ones!

Darn, I was about to put in 58 for the half dime and 55 for the quarter, and then came to the end to see the grades posted. These are stunners at these grades, worth the rub for sure.

Best, HT

I would not have gotten the grade on the half dime either....you just can't see the rub. Same with the SLQ...

You got a lot for the money you paid!
