HMTL Modification of my NGC Registry Set posted by TheHawaiianaNumismatist

Existing format was boring ...

I looked at my custom set and saw an issue. The "set listing" looked like a webpage full of words without any formatting.

I modified the set by: adding a video, adding paragraph headers, adding order list, adding a url links, and modified the text (bold and italics).

More work remains...

Your linky here doesn't work, but I navigated to your set - and I am impressed! I didn't actually know this was possible. What are the limitations? Can you add color and other flair? Can you do something similar in the actual coin description, or does it only work on the intro?

Sorry for the sort of late reply. I'm a switchover from a paying member to a ANA supported member and my email & account were not in sync.

Here is the correct link

I'm a former software engineer (now a systems engineer). I picked up html programing pretty easily.

The sky is the limit in adding that "bling' to your NGC Registry listing.

Lets level the playing field in NGC Registry listings...

My experience has been that html coding will only work for some sections. For instance, I was able to alter my intro, but not the font of the goals text box despite using the same html coding. Here is my pathetic attempt to Jazz up one of my sets; it obviously needs a lot of work including with the write up.

Edited: I made more modifications today, and it appears that html linking tags (at least) will not work in the coin description field. So far for me, the html tags have worked only in the introduction section.
