A great series to watch.

 

Hi everybody,

 

 

 

I had a great time watching the World Series this year. Both KC and SF were pretty much evenly matched but I think one of the reasons it tipped the series to my Giants was how the DH effects the strategy in the National League compared to the American League.

 

 

 

Anyways, I have patiently waited to purchase a graded proof version of the HOF silver $1 and it paid off quite well. I scored my coin $69 off of EBay! I was quite stunned that it went for such a low price. Now I have both $1 coins raw and graded which was my goal when these coins became available.

 

 

 

Now I am faced with a "pleasant" dilemma...NGC has entered into an agreement with MLB to label the HOF coins and SAEs with the logos of all the ball teams. And the 2014 World Series Champions...SF Giants...get a special label too. So I am thinking of "buying the label" instead of the coin. It is a great way to combine 2 passions...coin collecting and baseball! It also a good excuse the go out and buy the 50c versions of the HOF commemorative.

Gotta love our Giants! They seemed to let a lot of opportunities slip by, but were opportunistic enough to get the job done. I'm not a fan of label collecting, but that's just me. And occasionally there is some "accessory" to a coin that I want... Good luck getting the ones you want.
