What is going on with these 2004 Clad Sets????

5 posts in this topic

In just a few days, these sets have gone from $50-60 to as much as $100 for one set. Is there a ceiling? What gives? Will the Silver Sets do the same? What about the Mint Sets, that are supposed to be lowest mintage in 40 years according to coin world. I just don't get it. BTW, if you are interested CV is selling all six Silver Proof sets for the discount price of 999.99...a great deal on 5-Pay stooges.gifChristo_pull_hair.gif

They got another plus sign this week (jan 7 greysheet) Looking like these might be a really good one to add to your collection if you don't have them yet. And if you do why not stockup and cash in, a few weeks from now!!!!!!!

Since they are no longer available from the Mint then they are creating alot of hype! They will never be as low as the 2003 sets but they will eventually settle into a lower price once the hype dies down.

But, then again, California is about to release their state quarter which will create all the more demand for the state quarters thereby inflating the prices back up.

It's a vicious cycle. tongue.gif
