No wait, are you telling me that all these coins Mr. Decker posts about are not real? I thought he was some rich guy who owns all the great coins of the world.

 

That has got to be real. I mean there is a picture right there to prove it! It is a proof and everything!

 

I would love to see his collection but alas NGC does not allow counterfeit coins in their registry. :banana:

1849 2 known? The only known example is in the National Numismatic Collection at the Smithsonian Institution. A second example may be in private hands.

 

Maybe this is the one that is in private hands?

Can't tell if those fingers belong to a Private or a Corporal....but it is a punishingly ugly fake.
