Looking to buy NGC sample slabs for my collection!

 

All denomination coins (U.S & Foreign coins dated 1998 and before).

 

I'm looking for the earlier type slabs, so none of the new material (shield cents, state quarters etc..) - ONLY sample slab that were produced before the state quarter samples are of interest to me.

 

here's a short list of the sample slabs i'm really looking for, at the moment (the numbering system is based off of this website , click to compare and find your slab type).

- NGC 6.6 , 6.7

I'd love to help you as you have helped me sooooo many times, not with just purchases but lengthy info on my coins that you had no possible chance to make any money; just the goodness of your heart. I even attempted to help by sending a secrect Santa gift, a sample slab.

But honestly I feel like you might as well as for one of the extinct DoDo birds because I haven't a clue what you want even with your detailed list. Do you have a web site that list exactly what they are? Should I send pics of unknown slab and waste your time? I'd rather waste your time when you get off work at 1:00am for personal gain asking for help with your large knowledge base and bigger help. Just a reminder, you've sent detailed pic after pic on how to do computer related things, pages of what you think are fair value for coins that I'm not even selling to you and the list goes on. Bottom line I'd love to help you if I just understood more.

when someone finally asks a question that i actually know the answer to, I'm glad to help!

your Secret Santa gifts were great, you sent exactly what i would have wanted to get.. thank you!

 

as for what I'm after here..

there is a website that has the different types of NGC sample slabs posted on it with its own numbering system (it is not complete but that's the only online source of its kind as of now) - you can see it here: SampleSlabs Website - the numbers of the slabs that I posted above as the ones i want to buy are on this list. they have pics and short descriptions of each of the samples.

 

as you can see, the list goes from NGC #1 to NGC #47 (there is actually one that came before NGC #1, and many more after NGC #47 (the last update to the website was maybe 10 years ago) ), but I only collect the types #1 to #15.

Out of about 75 (if no more new types pop up) different types of slab/label/coin combinations i need to have a complete set, i'm now missing 12 (here's a short update on my progress with more detail) - so while i'm offering to buy all and any of the sample slabs in this post that are Pre-1999, I offer more money for these samples that I need for my set.

a little more info and pics+descriptions of the slabs that I own can be found in here , although it is far from complete because the registry system would not allow me to add some of my slabs to the set.

 

Needless to say, I still collect coins. the sample collecting is something I do on the side. it is has become a very fun challenge for me, now spread over 3+ full NGC slab boxes, and getting each and every one is a challenge.

 

Please feel free to "waste my time" by sending pics of unknown slabs should you come across any - I don't mind it! one of my best sample slabs i purchased from a gentleman ATS that sent me a PM starting with "you probably won't be interested in THIS, but..."
