Good Mailbox day.........

Don't you love opening the mailbox to find coins.........typically I get them spread out more throughout the week, but today it was bubble mailer city

The only problem I can foresee is that after getting six new coins in one day, you may go though some pretty bad withdrawal symptoms once you go back to getting only one or two in a day.

I am leaning towards the 1944-D Jefferson as it has a nice gold tone to it, but the FB Mercury dime has more luster than any Merc Dime I have ever owned.......very nice for the grade and looks like it should be in a 67FB holder.

When I was a kid, the three most exciting things for me were:

 

 

1) the bus being on time

 

2) model airplanes at the mailbox

 

3) coins in the mailbox.

 

 

Now only one excites me. Life is tough.

Did all the packages fit in your mailbox or were they strewn all over your yard?

They were all in my Mailbox. I purchased and mounted an oversized mailbox a few years ago as I collect comics as well and I got tired of the mail man folding the large bubble mailers in half so he could cram them in the mail box.............................I lost more than a couple nice Silver Age books that way
