Fun times in Atlanta

Hi everyone. Got home late last night after driving back to Tampa from Atlanta where I was attending the ANA Money Show. It was an amazing show with some displays and coins and paper money that would leave you in awe. I display my Lincoln Memorial Registry set in a competitive display and received a 3rd place ribbon in the History and Politics category. I am very pleased since it was my first competitive display. The competition was very stiff and I learned a lot for the next time I display my coins. I am sure most of you have heard about the California couple who found a hoard of gold coins while out walking their dog on their property. Here is a picture of just one of the coins from that hoard which is now referred too as the Saddle Ridge Hoard. This is an 1876 S $20 gold piece graded MS64. PCGS has only graded 3 at this grade and without the historical connection this coin list for $41,000. The coins date ranged from the late 1840s through the late 1890s. There were pieces graded much higher. An amazing find. So overall I had a great time at the show. I hope you enjoy this picture and as always, thanks for looking and Happy Collecting
