I just love this coin design - but until now I hadn't really been able to find just the right coin. But when I ran across this one - I knew it was the one wink.gif

 

It is the 1874 French 5 franc with Hercules on the obverse flanked by Liberty & Justice.

That's a superb coin! Congrats on that one. Did you pick it up at the UT state coin show? (Sorry I missed that one this year.)

Fraid not Hoot - 'bout all I did at this year's show was sell, sell, sell. Have to be able to pay for all these one way or another wink.gif

 

This one I found on a dealer's web site - they wanted too much - I made 'em an offer - they accepted cloud9.gif
