Very nice, Dooly! Have you been able to translate the hallmarks? It will probably give you an idea of the year the medal was produced. The (engraved) 1929 isn't necessarily the year it was produced.

Mappin & Webb, Birmingham, 1928 is the translation of the hallmarks.
