Looking for information.

 

I have a clipped large cent that I found in Snow Hill Maryland, at the location of and old slave shack. I know it has no value, buy my fascination with it, and the mystery behind this coin, I just had to share it. The date looks to be 1793 or 1798. I can't tell even looking with a magnifying glass. I am sending a picture to see if someone will be able to identify it and give me some information on it's history. Thank you
