1884 CC GSA - GTG and VAM

Recent pickup 84 CC in a GSA holder. Can you give a grade from these pics? VAM?

Grade is a solid 64. I don't know anything about VAMs.

I agree with Physics-fan, a solid 64. As for the VAM, by the picture you provided, I think it is the VAM-2 18 over 18. Nice pick up!

I see others at 64 on this but I'll give you a bump to 64+.

Seems like everyone agrees. Looks like a solid 64 to me as well. Maybe a little extra love, seeing it's a CC in a GSA holder, gets it a + I probably wouldn't submit this one but given the fact that it's the only 84 CC VAM that NGC attributes (VAM 2 - 18/18) I'm thinking about it. ( What the heck, It might make the Hot 50 one day!)

 

Good job on the VAM - Deerefan8420. There are a few doubled dates associated with the 84 CC.The VAM 2 is the only one that is doubled to the top. All others are doubled to the left or right. VAM 2 and 6 share the same reverse with a doubled first C in the CC mint mark but the obverse doubling on the 6 is to the right. Too much information?!?!?!

this is 100percent the VAM-2..as far as the grade i would say 64+ being that i have seen far worse looking coins grade 65 in a GSA holder. Very Nice Find
