NGC MS61-63 1885 Liberty Nickel Price Help

Can someone give me an idea of what would be a fair price for an 1885 Liberty Nickel in NGC MS61-63? I don't see very many of them advertised and wondered if I could get one for current greysheet price. CDN bid/ask is $975/$1075 for MS60 and $1250/$1350 for MS63.

This series is not very familiar to me, however, that is a key date and many key dates are selling for more than Greysheet if they have eye appeal. So, I wouldn't be surprised if a nice looking coin in that grade range sold for more than the range. Have you tried looking at the Heritage archive for prices realized? It might help.

Red Book lists it from 1,200 @ MS60 to 1,500 @MS63. Sounds like a fair and reasonable price range there to me.

I'd expect to pay 1500-1600 for an average MS63 and more for a pretty one. Nice date in 63.

For about $1000 you could get a Proof-65 instead.
