Early Commemorative Coins are still in "Vogue."

I was late to the chase on the last two Mark Feld emails as it concerns coins in the early commemorative series.

 

Here is Marks image of the latest coin I inquired about:

 

 

I replied fairly quickly on this and Mark told me seven or eight had already inquired about this example.

 

Nice commemoratives will last throughout many generations.

 

Just my humble opinion of course.

 

P.S.: My hope one day is to be on Mark's list to be contacted on the early commemorative series before he sends out his emails. It is ok to have hope isn't it?

Commems are so terribly cheap that even I've thought about doing them! Not too many other series of that vintage have MS-67 examples that are extremely affordable.

I think nice commems are in demand.

 

The problem is all the many, many over-dipped examples that keep the prices down and turn off potential commem collectors.
