[1 sold] 400 to 450 Lincoln Cent varieties $30

One-and-a-half 2x2 double-row long-boxes of Lincoln cents, all of them attributed by the previous owner (who is deceased). Dates are mostly 1940 through 1958 with a few Memorial cents included. These are by far mostly RPMs, such as 1940-S/S, 1942-S/S/S, 1951-D/D, etc., and the collector identified many by die-pair as well. A few better grade coins, and should easily be hours of fun for the cherry-picker.

[2 sold] Liberty Nickel set, $175

Low grade, and a few coins are ugly as a warthog in a bikini store. 1885 and 1886 are corroded, 1912-S is a very decent F-15 though. Ridiculously cheap because I am not 100% sure the 1885 is authentic - it's so badly corroded. Library Of Coins album that smells moldy.

[3 sold] Lincoln Cent collection 1909 - 1940-S, NO S-VDB or 22 plain $200

Also missing 1918 for some reason. Bids $1125 with an S-VDB, so would be worth $500 without. However, 1914-D is XF/corroded, 1914-S is damaged, 1931-S is VF/cleaned, and that's why set is terribly cheap. A couple of minor cleaned coins, nothing high grade but many early VG or so cents of excellent quality. Whitman coin folder.

[4 sold] Four Silver Dollars, NGC MS-64 $400

1880-S, 1881 (P), 1882 (P), and 1883 (P), all graded MS-64 by NGC. These are average white to off-white coins, and I think current wholesale bid is something like $393. Slabs are in decent to excellent shape.

[5 sold] Two PCGS coins, $70

1958 Franklin in PF-66, and 1923 Peace dollar in MS-64+. Both are white except the dollar has a touch of peach-gold at the obverse center.

[6 withdrawn] 1909-S VDB, NGC MS-62

Much luster, pecan accents and a surprising amount of mint-bronze color for the BN designation. 60 bid = 1550, 63RB bid = 1675, and of course the coin retails (Trends) for much more.

[7 sold] Exactly 400 Lincoln Cent errors, varieties RPMs, doubled-dies, etc. $100

All identified on 2x2s by the previous owner are many BIEs, blank planchets, clipped planchets, filled dies, die erosion, minor doubled-dies, cracked skulls, clashes, RPMs, etc. The total listed value (according to his own pricing) seems to be around $900, but realistically, it's worth less than that. 25-cents per coin is awfully cheap, though.

[8 sold] 1740 Spanish Piece of Eight, ex-ANACS # B1542 $25

Coin is severely corroded and had to be a shipwreck recovery or ground find. Strangely, has a strong date. Placed in a custom Capital Plastic holder that states "ANACS # B1542".

[9 sold] 2003, 2004 and 2005 Australian Kangaroo proof coins $125

All original packaging. Outer box for 2003 a little scruffy, but all three coins are as-struck.

[10 sold] mostly complete set of Washington quarters $550

In two Harris coin folders. Missing NINE coins: 1934, 35,35d, 39d, 40s, 46s, 47s, 51d, and 53. Quick grade estimates for some coins: 1932d=F, 32s=F, 34d=F, 35s=VF, 36d=F, 36s=F, 37d=F, 37s=VF, 40d=VF. The rest of the coins average AU to UNC, with the vast majority in UNC, although about 15 coins are lower grade. 74 coins total, $18.50 in 90% face, silver alone is $360. Bid/ask = 650/700 in G-VG.

[11] 1927-S quarter, PCGS F-12 $80

Perfect grade, perfect original grey patina. Bid/ask=85/95.

[12 sold] Complete Lincoln set, $950

Bid/Ask = 1125/1225 "good or better", this set in an old Whitman album is generally nicer than that. 1909-S VDB (Fine+ detail, obverse left rim tick, both wheat ears have small scratches, plus another scratch or two on reverse), 1909-S (VG+ to borderline F-12 detail, obverse dark spot plus small obverse lamination), 1910-S (virtually F), 1911-S (VG), 1912-S (F couple of obverse bagmarks), 1913-S (F), 1914-D (VG-10 very slight rim ticks), 1914-S (F), 1915-S (VG), NO 1922 PLAIN, 1924-D (Fine +, minor greenish spots), and 1931-S (Fine). Consignor "Ronnie" spent a long time putting together a decent set on a very tight budget with basically "no-problem" coins mostly Fine or so. Priced low because the S VDB has the aforementioned problems, but I'd like to get him a decent return.

[13] 1926 Sesquicentennial gold quarter-eagle commem, $400

AU or so, and looks UNC. Bid/ask=340/370.

[14 sold] 1938 Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $300

White, very faint bronze rim tone. Bid/ask=265/285.

[15 sold] 1941 Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

Blast white. Bid/ask=100/110.

[16] 1941 Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

Some pastel grey-blue album toning into fields. Bid/ask=100/110.

[17 sold] 1942 Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

White, amazing satin sheen. Bid/ask=100/110.

[18 sold] 1943-S Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $275

Doubled-die obverse, off-white with a decent center strike. Bid/ask=210/230.

[19 sold] 1946-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

Beautiful cotton white and subtle luster. Bid/ask=100/110.

[20 sold] 1946-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

White, exceptionally bright. Bid/ask=100/110.

[21 sold] 1946-D Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $100

White, shimmering paper-white. Bid/ask=100/110.

[22 sold] 1946-S Walking Liberty half-dollar, NGC MS-65, $125

White, stunning lovely brightness with a fairly decent center strike. Bid/ask=120/130.

[23] 1897-O Morgan dollar, PCGS XF-45, $60

Decent luster, peach-grey outer toning around pewter-white centers. 40ask/50bid=44/78.

[24] 1887 VAM-12 "gator eye" dollar, NGC MS-63, $75

White, extremely light rim tone. Top-100 VAM.

[25] 1882-CC Morgan dollar, NGC MS-64, $255

Nice deal on this white dollar since it's just priced at ask - price basically doubles at the next grade. Bid/ask=235/255

[26] 2001-P Buffalo dollar, NGC PF-69 UCAM, $125

Awesome brilliance.

[27] 1942-S Mercury dime, NGC MS-66 FB, $100

Outrageous bright white quality with a small dimple on the neck, and incredible strike, tons of die polish.

[28] 1944-D/S cent, FS-021, OMM-2, ANACS XF/rim damaged net VF-30, $75

Any purported "rim damage" is completely obscured by the slab insert and is not visible. Details are really EF-45, with a blatantly clear over-mintmark. Redbook value interpolates as $137 in VF-30.
