Series of 1923 Silver Certificates for sale - SORRY no pics

4 posts in this topic

Here is some stuff I'd rather not haul down to FUN - FREE SHIPPING on these groups.

(1) $150 PPD

Eighteen atrocious large-sized silver certificate dollars, series of 1923. These are awful -- the kind of rags we pay $5 to $10 apiece for. Holes, ragged edges, stains, dark color, moldly smell, taped, torn -- you name it they've got it. Each in a protective plastic sleeve.

(2) $90 PPD

Six large-sized silver-certificate dollars, series of 1923, each grading Good or so, well worn and low grade, but not quite rags. Visibly better than the hideous group above, and each in a protective plastic sleeve.

(3) $140 PPD

Seven large-sized silver-certificate dollars, series of 1923, each grading Good-plus to VG. These are low grade of course, but tend to have better edges and slightly brighter eye-appeal. One note is basically Fine but heavily crinkled. Each in a protective plastic sleeve.

(4) $70 PPD

Three VG-plus to Fine large-sized silver-certificate dollars, series of 1923. Definitely starting to look like nicer collectable notes with better color and fair edges. One note would be Fine+ but is very strongly creased. Each in a protective plastic sleeve.

(5) $110 PPD

Four large-sized silver-certificate dollars, series of 1923, and these are clearly nicer than the groups listed above, but correspondingly a little more expensive. A couple are strong Fine, another borderline VF, and the last is VF except for "36" penciled on it. Each in a protective plastic sleeve.

Thanks for looking!

Hi James,

I love how the 1923 large size notes, that have holes, ragged edges, stains, dark color, moldly smell, taped, and are torn are in a protective plastic sleeve!! :roflmao:lol:roflmao:lol:roflmao:

We want to protect them from somehow improving due to exposure lol !
