At the CO Springs Coin Show, I was able to pick this coin up at less than 50% MS63 sheet since there's some rub present--still has great lustre, but costs MUCH less... plus, the design is awesome smile.gif I even got an additional $3 off so I could give the guy two singles so he could buy a soda laugh.gif

 

I just placed it in my type set...

Nice reverse die crack through the rim lettering. Is that common on this issue? I haven't noticed it before. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Sounds like a bargain, what ever you paid. I do the same in Comic books....I buy 8.0's of key issue for a fraction of what a NM 9.4 would cost me and the book still looks great 893applaud-thumb.gif

Are you going to have it graded or keep it raw? $52 is a great price for a coin with that eye appeal 893whatthe.gif
