On the last coin, what does the "restrike" mean?

 

I'm assuming it's a reprint (I'm a comic guy) but thought I'd ask.

 

It is a coin struck in 1963 with the same design as a coin originally struck in 1642. You can see the 1963 date to the left (19) and right (63) of the horses legs.
