If you're not already receiving Mark Feld's new inventory offerings lists...

If you're not already receiving my new inventory offerings lists and would like to, please feel free to send me a private message.

I send out new lists after most major shows and before my new coins are added to my website. Many of my best coins are sold though the lists and never make it to my website.

Below is a copy of my most recent list, which went out yesterday.

Dear Client,

Below, please find my list of post-ANA rare coin offerings. And, for purposes of full disclosure, also included here, are several coins which previously appeared in my pre-ANA list. That is because at the time, I did not yet have images available for them. And in once case, there was an image, but it has since been re-shot, in order to provide a better/more accurate look at the coin.

As always, coins will be set aside and/or sold, based upon the order in which requests and/or orders are received. A few coins in my last list caused quite a slugfest among a few of you, though everyone still behaved like gentlemen. Thank you for that.

And thanks, as always, for looking.

Sincerely,

Mark

HALF CENTS:

1855 Braided Hair Half cent PCGS/CAC MS65BN $1125

Generally well struck, with quite a bit of faded mint red color remaining for a brown (BN) coin. The surfaces are extraordinarily clean and the overall visual impression is absolutely wonderful.

HALF DIMES:

1862 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Half Dime NGC MS66 $1425

Colorful patina highlights virtually impeccably preserved surfaces on this sharply detailed gem. Not particularly rare at this grade level, but few of the others are this fine or with this much eye appeal.

DIMES:

1880 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime PCGS PR63 $675

Colorfully toned and a great coin for the grade.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1880pcgsPR63.jpg

1882 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime NGC MS65 $1050

Encapsulated in an old NGC "fatty" holder, this coin looks like a solid and highly attractive MS66 to me. It is lustrous, well struck and colorfully toned. The NGC grading label has come loose from its slot in the core. But 1) I am not having the coin re-holdered and more importantly, 2) it does not cover or interfere with the viewing of any portion of the coin.

1885 Legend Obverse Seated Liberty Dime PCGS/CAC MS66 $1200

Another quality business strike Seated Liberty Dime with pleasing patina. This one is more lustrous and prettier in hand.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1885pcgs66.jpg

1892 Barber Dime PCGS PR65 $1375

Intricately detailed, even considering it’s a Proof, this brilliant Barber Dime sports attractive obverse color and a pristine appearance.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1892pcgsPr65.jpg

1899 Barber Dime PCGS PR63+ $575

If the grade of this coin was covered up, I believe that many viewers would guess PR64, if not PR64+. Try (buying) it, you'll like (owning) it.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1899pcgsPR63plus.jpg

1904 Barber Dime PCGS/CAC PR65 $1475

Like a number of other offerings from this list, this Proof is flashier, as well as more colorful and appealing looking in person.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dime1904pcgsPR65.jpg

QUARTERS:

1834 Capped Bust Quarter PCGS XF45 $500

Deeply toned with a highly original appearance. There is a reverse hit below the D in UNITED, which is the only flaw worthy of note, and is mentioned for the sake of accuracy

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1834pcgsXF45.jpg

1876-S Motto Seated Liberty Quarter PCGS/CAC MS64 $975

Gently toned, with satiny surfaces. The accompanying image captures the look of this one very accurately.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1876Socgs64.jpg

1894 Barber Quarter PCGS/CAC PR65 Cameo $2150

Color-free, no doubt from a previous dip, but super flashy and appealing looking.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/quarter1894pcgsPR65Cameo.jpg

HALF DOLLARS:

1859 No Motto Seated Liberty Half Dollar PCGS MS63 $1075

Compared to many other coin types, I see very few nice looking uncirculated business strike Seated Liberty Half Dollars. So I was especially pleased to find this one. It’s color is slightly lighter and its luster, somewhat more pronounced, than see in the image. But otherwise, the picture captures its look extremely well.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1859pcgs63.jpg

1894 Barber Half Dollar PCGS PR64 $1875

Deeply and attractively toned, this Proof Barber Half is more brilliant than seen in the image.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/halfdollar1894pcgsPR64.jpg

1939 Walking Liberty Half Dollar PCGS MS68+ $19,000

OK, let’s get the bad news out of the way, first. This is not THE highest graded uncirculated Walking Liberty Half Dollar of any date to have been graded by PCGS. It is merely tied with one other, for the highest graded. The other example, certified by CAC, is also dated 1939, and sold for $19,550 in the September, 2010 Heritage Long Beach sale. I have not yet submitted this coin to CAC. And for those of you who do not already know - when I submit a coin to CAC and it fails to sticker, I make note of that in my description. This coin is not perfect. But it is of spectacular quality, and displays lovely pastel toning on both sides. It is a joy to behold and a pleasure to own. Who's next?

DOLLARS:

1880 Trade Dollar PCGS PR63 $3550

Pleasing light to medium depth toning drapes mirror-like surfaces, which give the appearance of a higher grade. Put another way, this eye-appealing representative looks superior to a large majority of others I have seen at this grade level.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/DollarTrade1880pcgsPr63.jpg

1880-S Morgan DollarPCGS MS65 $285

Sharply struck, highly lustrous and beautifully toned on the obverse.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1880Spcgs65.jpg

1881-S Morgan Dollar NGC MS66 $315

Deeply and attractively toned, with lots of personality and an especially pretty obverse.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1881Sngc66.jpg

1921 Peace Dollar PCGS MS65 $1950

While not beautiful, this is one of the more unusually and colorfully toned, not to mention, original looking 1921 Peace Dollars I have seen in a long while. The most notable flaw is a nearly horizontal scratch on the reverse, beneath the E in E PLURIBUS

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1921Peacepcgs65.jpg

1934 Peace Dollar PCGS MS66 $3125

Speaking of especially nice Peace Dollars, this is one of the cleanest non-common date examples you will ever see. While it looks as if it was dipped at one time - it is closer to white than seen in the image - it offers plenty of luster, a solid strike and (as mentioned) wonderfully clean surfaces. I hardly ever like Peace Dollars enough to buy them, but this one forced me to make an exception.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/dollar1934pcgs66.jpg

COMMEMORATIVE SILVER:

Lincoln PCGS/CAC MS67 $2400

Delicately toned, with virtually immaculate surfaces. The patina is slightly more subtle in hand and the luster is bolder, in hand. Seldom seen in such technically superior condition.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemLincolnpcgs67.jpg

Lynchburg PCGS/CAC MS66 $625

Attractively toned, particularly on the obverse, which offers some beautiful hues about portions of the periphery.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemLynchburgPCGS66.jpg

GOLD:

Grant Star Gold Dollar PCGS/CAC MS66 $3100

Highly lustrous, with rich golden-orange color.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/commemGoldGrantStarPCGS66.jpg

1884 Gold Dollar NGC/CAC PR65 Cameo $11,500

Light yellow-gold in hue, with the watery fields contrasting nicely with the frosted devices. Orange-peel texture can be seen on this lovely, pristine looking little gem. My apologies for having just raised the price on this coin, to the tune of $10,000, in order to correct a "minor" typo! This coin looks far better in person.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldOne1884ngcPr65Cameo.jpg

1889 Gold Dollar PCGS MS67 $3750

A satin-like beauty with pleasing color and incredibly clean surfaces.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldOne1889pcgs67.jpg

1904 Liberty $2.50 PCGS/CAC PR66 Cameo $24,250

This is one of only 170 produced, and certainly one of the finer surviving ones, at that. This attention grabber features gorgeous golden and orange-red color and excellent contrast, with that seen on the reverse being even more intense than on the obverse. The PCGS Population Report shows only five for this grade and designation, with but one higher. Additionally, there is a single non-cameo graded a point higher. Not a bad coin.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldtwohalf1904pcgsPR66Cameo.jpg

1855 $3.00 PCGS XF45 $1075

lustrous and problem-free. Excellent for type, or simply because you like it and want to own it.

Images: http://markfeldcoins.com/client/goldThree1855pcgsAU53.jpg

1904 Liberty $20 PCGS/CAC MS65 $5350

A great looking $20 Liberty, which easily stands out from most others I have seen.

Would be nice to see some early type coins on his site:) Maybe not so easy to aquire.

I agree. But my goal is to buy and sell nice coins at fair prices. Often, that results in my ending up with imbalances of different types of coins for sale.

For example, right now, I have quite a few Seated and Barber Dimes. Other times, I have had more silver commemoratives, Walkers or Morgan Dollars. And so on.

I tend to have fewer early type coins, because nice examples are more difficult to locate/obtain. And I refuse to compromise my standards, just to have a better rounded inventory.
