Picked this up at the show today I believe it to be Douglas-44 Washington Inauguration centennial medal 1889. I can't find any recent sales of the piece. Would anyone have an idea as to value?

thanks

Ken

wish i could help, that is really a neat piece. How do you verify something like that? I read someplace about military patches something about black lighting the cloth because todays threads will glow or something to that effect. Do you do something similar?

I picked up a small lot of items from the late 1800s to early 1900s some pieces are easier than others to attribute.. I thought this one was neat because it still had the ribbon attached. It appears to be made of white medal. I just thought there might be someone here familiar with these
