Indeed, the finish is boldly contrasted between satiny, fully impressed devices and glassy, well-mirrored fields. A tinge of pale-pink iridescence enhances otherwise autumn-orange surfaces, the color original and highly attractive. If any proof 1871 Two-Cent piece has a chance of establishing a new auction record for the issue, this stunning Cameo-finish Gem is it.
