Do you think it is worth the trouble of sending back in for a reholder?

I do not collect Bristish Commonwealth except for Union of South Africa. What I can tell you is that there seems to be some interest in the rarer coins in circulated grades, but not much. The price spreads between MS and any circulated grade - even AU-58 - are very wide on scarcer coins which is something that is illogical and I have pointed this out many times on the South Africa BoB (eBay equivalent) coin forum. But nobody seems to care.

My guess is that because you bought it raw and had it graded, you can make some money on this coin selling to a specialist. Some but I would not get my hopes up too high. I would expect that the demand for East Africa is much less than for SA Union and though I do not know how scarce this coin really is, I doubt it is scarcer than many Union coins which are much scarcer than those who do not collect them believe using only the mintage records. Also, it is unlikely that there are very many die variety collectors for East Africa. The best thing going for this coin is that is is listed in Krause.
