Puff wheeze wimper

 

Well, looking for one coin to try to regain my sub 200 collection number. I am looking to do it on one base hit, and not have to go searching for numerous coins. I found an 1860 $2.50 Liberty Head, Old Reverse in MS64. The guy wants $10,500.00 for it. I looked thru the NGC Price guide, and came up with no information. Can anyone out there help me as to its value? Sure would appreciate any help.

I know it's not the best but the 2012 red book lists the MS63 at $13,500.

Maybe a similar coin has shown up on one of the auction sites recently. Google the coin,details and you might get a good guesstimate for the FMV.

The PCGS Guide shows $13,500.

 

The last 64s at Heritage were 3/16/07 at $8625 and 6/2/06 for $9775.
