ANA Strategic Plan for 2012-2013

Let your voice be heard. :)

 

The American Numismatic Association’s Board of Governors is charting a course for the organization’s direction over the next two years and would like members to offer feedback on the 2012-2013 Strategic Plan.

 

The board will consider member feedback as it prepares a final draft of the document, which will be discussed and potentially approved during its meeting at 4 p.m. May 11 at the National Money Show in Denver.

I was the Division Strategic Planning Director (for a $400 miilon sales) division of a large company. These plans typically take months if you do all of the planning for Strategy, Operations, Marketing and Financial to a five year plan horizon. It takes months and much fiscal discipline to do.

 

I think that the AMA needs a plan but they are very late for this horizon. Maybe next year. A bad plan is worse than having none!
