1932D Washington Quarter Help Grading

Okay so I am thinking about purchasing this coin from a friend. I feel that it is at the very least a MS65 would like as many opinions as I can get on it. Thank you for any help you guys can offer.

Well see I'm glad I asked thank you I missed those contact marks completely and I don't know how. I may be buying it after all thanks again any other opinions would be greatly appreciated.

My guess is AU58. If it is Unc and problem free, it's likely a 62 or 63 tops.

Be careful - it is a slider! I would call it lock AU-58.

Tops 63, but I agree with the others, it looks AU-58. Additionally, it is dipped. I would pass on this piece.

It looks like there could be a tiny bit of friction on the high points; thus, I would say AU58. If the coin is MS, then I would grade it MS62.

I'm saying Details holder. Hairlines seem to go various directions. It has been cleaned, it would be good for in an album so that maybe it will retone nicely and hide the cleaning.

I think a lot of what you are seeing is die polish.

My best guess is MS62. Regardless of our opinions, however, in order to be fair to both buyer and seller, why not have it graded prior to making a deal?

Then, in order to protect yourself, don't buy it, unless you can get it at a price that equates with a high grade AU.
