GEM Proof Beauty in the mail to NGC for Grading and High Resolution (300 DPI) Imaging by JAA USA/Philippines Collection

Iam really excited about my newest acquisition so I decided to submit it to NGC under their World Express grading tier.

 

The coin is a stunning GEM Proof 1903 USA/Philippines Peso which should be a nice upgrade for my USA/Philippines Type Set.

I purchased this little beauty from Cookie Jar Collectibles in their Philippine Mail Bid Sale XVI, but only recieved it Saturday (2/4/2012). This specimen has great eye appeal with irridescent blue and gold toning over pristine, origional, mirror surfaces. No hairlines are detectable with 5 power magnification, so this coin should recieve a high technical grade.

 

This is the first time that I have tried the new NGC High Resolution Imaging and hopefully it will do the coin justice. As soon as I get the images I will post them in a Journal entry.

Thanks. Conservatively the coin should grade at least a PF65 and could easily grade PF66.
