Machine doubling was very common on the Kennedy halves of the early 70's. Sorry!

It's strike doubling. While not worth a premium to most knowledgeable collectors, if you put something like that on eBay, it is virtually guaranteed to bring a premium (at least, that's how it was three years ago or so).

But you have to hype it up and grab a sucker. In normal sales, this is worth about 50 cents.
