You've got some nice detail on that coin, Bruce. Nice preservation of lines in the shield, especially for a circulated piece. Good wreath detail with the rachis of the leaves showing, crisp stars and reverse lettering, and the 5 is not flat on one side. Slightly off-center strike, as is common with shields, but overall a great looking piece. thumbsup2.gif

Bruce - as for the grade, I'd be hard-pressed to guess from the photo. I might venture to say a high AU, but really don't have a good way to guess without the piece in hand. It's nice, no matter what the grade may be.

thats the way I bought it... It is graded... ANACS Net Grade EF 40.... They Said was cleaned at one point... but it Has AU details but Net Graded at EF 40.. which made the price even better....I bought the coin on looks and not the grade...
