After 40 some odd years of hard labor (I am an IT Specialist) I finally get to go!!!

One and 1/2 more weeks. I plan to put all of my coins here with pictures. I have a gazillion that I have collected over the years but couldn't do anything with them but put them in a box. The sad part is the budget will be tighter and I am going to have to narrow my choices. I don't care. I finally have freedom.

I think that I will use some of the coins to support other collections. I won't part with my Scandinavian, Australian, and Ben Franklin. Oh yeah, there are the French La Semeuse, the pandas..... Gotta go! Dinner is ready!!

Hey Grandma Sue....

A BIG CONGRATS to you... I get to join the FREEDOM ranks too and planning to do so before the end of 2012!

Ready to do what I want to do when I want to do it. Starting off with renovating the pool and adding a built in spa. Figured that would be a good start!

Love those Prudential Inv. commercials. Have you seen them?

Congratulations, I'll be joining you in 10-15 years. Work is one of those things that some days it feels like 10 and other days 15. When I retire I'll have my collection with me also. One of the ways I talk my wife into buying so many coins is that they will go towards retirement. I say to her even though I have a 401k, coins are another avenue to diversify and save for the future and have fun doing it all at the same time. Hopefully when I get to retirement, I won't need the coins. At any rate enjoy your new found freedom!
