Just added a birthdate coin to my collection.

Life is grand when you find a coin.

 

You know how some people walk down the street and see a penny on the ground and just walk over it. I pick the up to see if they are worth my efforts. Well while surfing eBay I came across a penny that had a date close to my heart. Love finding coins that were minted the year I was born.

Just won a 1992-P Lincoln Cent NGC MS 69 RD coin with a total grade population of only 6 today @ MS 69.RD. I paid a hefty price for it than I usually do. Lets hope my wife doesn’t find out. Anyway I am happy because it is one of few rare coins as of yet that I won since I started collecting two years ago with the start of Abraham Lincoln Commemorative Silver Dollar Lincoln, along with the Lincoln Coin and Chronicles Set. I have not sent them in for grading because I like the presentation of the chronicles set. When I get the Lincoln Cent I shall post photos of the coin. As to the 1955 DDO I can only dream about it.
