Pinned Stack of $50 Bills - Sussex Bank / Newton New Jersey

Hello:

 

I have a stack of $50 bills that are from the Sussex Bank in Newton, NJ. The bills are still pinned together from when they were stacked back in the 1800's. Where I'm confused is, are they better off staing this way or not. Also, does PMG appraise items like this? There's about 100 of them pinned together.

I am pretty sure PMG would only accept the notes individually.

 

If keeping the notes for sentimental reasons, I personally would not remove the pin for any reason. But for the purpose of selling for financial gain, I think you might have to do so.
