No-S proofs ... investment potential or just dead money?

Opinions on the No-S proofs from 1970-present. I've loosely watched the price trends and it appears flat to lower over the last few years. Is this a dead "series" -- similar to classic commems, or .

I think there is investment potential. I think the series is dead because most of the coins have been in private collections for years, and I am not aware of a public auction containing one of the coins in previous years. I think the new sale will generate interest.

Not my first choice as an investment coin but I think they should do as well as most modern rarities.

I like them, but they are already priced so high as to make the entry point prohibitive for most collectors or investors.

I especially like the 1971-s no s jefferson. I think it is a good buy.

Dead money. But I also believe 90% of all coins are dead money.
