Starting on a new registry set

 

Hi everyone. For those of you who follow my journals you know I concentrate mostly on Lincoln pennies. Having worked on my 1959-Date Business Strike Registry Set for the last few years I have reached a point where the last 20 something coins I need to complete this set are out there but I am having difficulty finding them at affordable prices. They are not even the most expensive. I have some feelers out and still have some money to invest from a large group of autographs I sold. Therefore, I have decided to start working on my 1959-Date Lincoln proof registry set. This coin is one of my first additions to this set. A must have for a competitive set and the price was right. Population of 32 with none graded finer by NGC. I will be adding more coins to this set soon. I hope you enjoy my coin and as always, thanks for looking and Happy Collecting

He's a beauty. The Lincoln obverse is the only current design I never want them to change. Please keep us posted on your progress and keep them pictures coming.
