POINT VALUES PLUMMIT

 

I would like to say a few words about the recent update of the points awarded for Peace Dollars. Even after taking a 5,800 point hit and dropping 40 places in the ranking. It is a good thing. It evens the playing field by decreasing the point values between the grades. The difference between say a MS65 and MS66 which used to be 500 points is now 100 and the other grades are similar. Some of the leaders in the set lost as many as 70,000 points, how would you like going to bed with 100,000 registry points and waking up with 30,000? Well not only could it happen to you it will as soon as your favorite set is updated.
