Mercury Dimes and Buffalo 5's

hi,

 

i'm one of those comic guys that just found a bunch of coins that my grandmom gave me when i was a little kid. I have no idea how to grade coins and i'm not really into selling them, just an idea as to what and how coins are graded.

 

here is a front scan of the coins...range of 1917-1944 on the mercs and 1917-1937 on the indian heads. these are all well worn and quite dirty the reverse on most are a bit better than the faces. like i said, give me an idea as to how to grade if you would!

They appear to range from AG through Fine.

The darker dime in the middle of the 2nd row is probably a VF if not an AU. I wouldn't mind having that in my pocket change
