and a couple small purchases.

Hi everyone,

I would like to say congratulations to the journal and set winners out there. They are all well deserved. It was very enjoyable and informative reading all the journal entries throughout the year. I also got great enjoyment looking through all the collections and following along when coins are added.

My collection grew just a bit lately. I added an MS68 1982 Washington 50c commemorative. It took me awhile to find this coin in the edge view holder that wasn't priced way over FMV. This just leaves me with 4 more coins to finish this set. All of them are the 1996 Olympic coins. I should be able to get this one completed this year.

I also added an MS70 2004 Edison $1. It seems to be slow going with this set...I am at less then 50% complete. I am trying to fill in the later dates with 70s as best I can but the prices have been way over FMV. I have been looking for an MS John Mashall for a few months but with no luck. If I can...I try to get the coins in the the edge view holder but no luck with that particular coin so far. I don't mind paying FMV or even a bit more but 50% over...I will just hold off "pullin the trigger".

Happy New Year everybody.

Jeffrey
