Guess the grade

The coin is an AU-58, but since it's a new ANACS holder, I'd say MS-62.

 

BTW the "old" ANACS went through a period when they are very conservative in their grading of U.S. gold coins. I've seen instances where people would crack them and get one or two additional grading points on the MS scale. Those days are mostly long past, but if you do run into a little, old white ANACS holder with a good looking gold coin in it, you might have found a bargain.

THE ANSWER IS......ANACS MS-61. This is comparable to NGC and PCGS MS-61's of this series that I own.
